Church of Ireland Parish Registers (North Mayo)

Through the meticulous and patient work of Kieran Gilroy, the extant Church of Ireland parish in registers for the civil parishes of Killala, Ballysakeery and the Crossmolina union were transcribed into a searchable database. Aside from giving both the civil and catholic parish location details, each entry was cross-referenced with townlands.ie to provide maps, census & griffith valuation information.

This work was made possible through the Rural Social Scheme and Tús community work placement scheme provided by Mayo North-East. The database is powered by Caspio and designed by Dr Liam Alex Heffron.
